Jason Cole with his love |
The cancelled Do No Harm, which was better than many prime time shows, yet NBC pulled the plug without letting the story develop. Poor ratings by the third episode was enough to doom this Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde modern take. Love, duty, envy, passion collides, when two men fight for the possession dearest to them both-one man's singular consciousness in a body. It is a wily game of wits between a good surgeon's patient intelligence and an evil man's persistent cunning!!! Who wins? That's what the show is all about and it delivers splendidly.
Mr Casanova - Ian Price |
If you want to be enagaged in one of the most twist a turn shows of all times, give DNH a watch. A brilliant surgeon Jason Cole by day and a notorious damaged demented sick man Ian Price by night. Do No Harm pulled all shots to deliver a rivetting story, which kept me glued till the final credits of the series finale rolled over. Every week, the see-saw battle between good and evil played out and the choices a man had to make to keep his sanity and his friends and his family together when he is his greatest enemy was just shocking entertainment at its very best.An added bonus were the surgeries shown with amazing detail and aplomb.Sharp like a scalpel- each one of them!
When finally it ended I felt a tear creeping down slowly by the corners of my eyes and I nearly screamed - it just couldn't finish this way!!If NBC feels like giving a show a second shot, then Do No Harm is the prime candidate for the position. I would rather go for the awesome final episode as a cliffhanger than a closure!! Don't miss 13 episodes of crackling entertainment.
Best episode: S01E13 - This is How it Ends!
